Me, Myself, and I

When I tell people I’m a photographer they often ask how long I’ve been taking photos and I honestly don’t know! I’ve been taking pictures as long as I can remember. Starting with a series of disposable Kodaks (you know the ones I mean) before moving onto little digital cameras and lastly graduating to DSLRs which I’ve been using ever since.

In the last seven years I’ve developed my skills, practicing many types of photography including landscape, wildlife, product, and street photography. I enjoy them all, but these pale in comparison to my love for documentary-style shots and the unmatched feeling of capturing the raw emotion of each fleeting moment with my lens.

This is the style I take into weddings and looking through my galleries you’ve probably noticed it, although you might not have been able to put a name to it. Consider me a fly on the wall, unobtrusively buzzing around, capturing the day as it was, smiles, laughs, tears, funny faces, and everything in between.

Capturing these emotions is one of the main reasons I do what I do. The look of the couple as they see each other for the first time, parents tearing up at their children’s happiness, the raucous laughter during speeches, the list goes on.

That’s probably enough about me, I want to hear about you. Hit that contact button and tell me a little about you, your day, and what you’re looking for and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
